This week, Kol was stung by such a cute little caterpillar! It had reddish-brown fur similar to a tuff of guinea pig fur. But, don’t let the adorable little thing fool ya! It’s considered one of the most venomous of caterpillars. They won’t kill you but it sure will hurt and send you to the ER.
Seriously, Kol was very lucky that it was a mild sting. He was in a ton of pain for an hour. It scaried me silly. But, we came away from our adventure with a little more knowledge and huge respect for this backyard neighbor.
